Overview

Our MSP client is seeking a reliable and professional Deskside Support Engineer to be based on-site with one of our government-sector clients in Lytham. This position requires a high level of customer service, technical competence, and professionalism, as you will be supporting end users in a secure and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site deskside support to government-sector users, ensuring all incidents and requests are resolved efficiently and in line with SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across Windows-based systems.
  • Build, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding, including workstation setups and access management.
  • Perform routine maintenance and hardware refresh activities.
  • Maintain clear documentation, asset records, and ticket updates.
  • Collaborate with remote teams and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Adhere to security, compliance, and confidentiality requirements appropriate for government environments.
