Job Title: Designer - Bespoke Joinery & Furniture

Remuneration: £30,000 - £45,000

Schedule: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday (some flexibility for hybrid work)

Responsibilities

• Designer position dealing with a high end bespoke range of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
• Liaise with clients to interpret and refine their design vision into practical, technical joinery solutions
• Oversee the preparation of manufacturing drawings, coordinate materials and production details, and ensure installation requirements are fully considered from the outset
• Liaising with the client to obtain and further information that is required
• Producing clear 2D & 3D drawings using Solidworks
• Attending site surveys as needed to support accurate design development and installation planning
• Liaise with procurement, project and workshop teams regarding any long lead time materials
• Working on projects ranging in value from £100k - £1.5m

Qualifications

• Must have a design experience utilising Solidworks software
• Must have experience within the bespoke furniture, joinery or fit out market sectors
• Must have the ability to read technical drawings
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High levels of attention to detail
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Genuine 'get up and go' work ethic
