Job summary

A leading fashion supplier in the UK is seeking a Ladieswear Designer to join their London team. This position involves designing seasonal ranges for ladies leisurewear, creating CADs, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, and have a commercial mindset. This hybrid role allows for 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, providing opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience designing ladies leisurewear.
• Strong skills in Illustrator and Photoshop; CLO 3D and InDesign a plus.
• Highly organized with a strong eye for trends, color, and shape.
• Proactive team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to develop forward-thinking designs.

Responsibilities

• Planning and designing seasonal ranges across ladies leisurewear.
• Creating CADs for buyer presentations and internal development.
• Building accurate tech packs to support sample development.
• Maintaining sample trackers, fabric and trim libraries.
• Liaising with merchandisers in Shanghai and supporting buyer communication.
• Supporting trend research, fabric sourcing, and seasonal moodboards.
• Producing regular shop and market reports.
• Keeping design systems and shared drives organized and up to date.
• Participating in showroom meetings and contributing to inspirational shopping trips.
