Are you an enthusiastic and innovative Design and Technology Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity? We are seeking a passionate educator to join our forward-thinking and supportive Secondary School in the Chelmsford area this September.

Position: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (or Long-Term Supply)

About the Role:
You will join a dynamic and collaborative D&T department committed to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire creativity and practical problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging and differentiated Design and Technology lessons.
· Teach a variety of areas within D&T such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics or Engineering.
· Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
· Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
· Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

What Were Looking For:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Specialism in Design and Technology or a related subject.
· Strong classroom management and communication skills.
· A creative and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
· Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
