A renowned design agency in Greater London is seeking a Design Director to lead and inspire design teams. You will work closely with clients and the creative director to ensure that all projects meet their creative standards. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in branding, team leadership, and proficiency in design software. About the role:
A Design Director at Turner Duckworth holds an important role with responsibility to ensure that all our work delivers against the creative requirements of a brief. A Design Director is the right-hand man/woman to their Creative Director; supporting them at every step. Design Directors typically work across anything from 1-3 brands at a time, and will be heavily involved from initial strategy phases to final artworks, working with planners, accounts, production and the Creative Director. You will need to be capable of stepping in to brief teams / artworkers / illustrators etc, build and present presentations and attend calls and design reviews in a Creative Director’s absence. Between yourself and the Creative Director, you will need to facilitate and contribute actively to discussion in meetings to find solutions and push the creative.
