The role involves developing innovative engineering solutions for pressure vessels and collaborating across disciplines. We have an exciting opportunity for a
Design / Development Engineer
to join our Vessels and Installations Team within the Rolls-Royce Submarines business.
As the Design / Development Engineer you will get involved in all stages of product development, from feasibility and concept, through design, build, development, through full lifecycle.
You will have the chance to see your ideas become reality in a fast-paced environment, where your problem solving, and engineering skills will be challenged and developed.
As part of the Future Programmes Component engineering team, the Vessels and Installations Team develop pressure Vessels, Pipework installations bespoke repair, inspection and maintenance capabilities, against challenging safety constraints (to ASME III / VIII Standards), in support of the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet.
