Role Summary

We're looking for a Deputy who is both a natural leader and a nurturer - someone just as comfortable mentoring staff as they are singing with toddlers or planning activities for preschoolers. This is a hands‑on leadership role, where you will be visible across the nursery every day, providing consistent support to help create the conditions for high‑quality learning and development for both the team and the children.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of passionate educators
  • Coach, mentor, and support staff through high‑quality interactions and reflective practice
  • Contribute to our child‑led, curiosity‑inspired curriculum, underpinned by the EYFS
  • Promote a culture of openness, growth, and professional accountability
  • Ensure safeguarding, wellbeing, and compliance remain central to daily practice
  • Confidently step into the Manager's role when required
Qualifications
  • A Level 3 childcare qualification or above (required)
