Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in residential children's homes.
• At least 1 year experience of staff supervision and management responsibility.
• Ability and willingness to be part of an on call rota.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safeguarding and ensuring high quality care.
• Manage the home, staff, and resources.
• Supervise the team and support young people in achieving their goals.

Skills

Ability to develop one-to-one relationships

Numeracy skills

Knowledge of regulatory framework

Understanding of trauma informed practice

Education

Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Psychology, Social Work)

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (if applicable)
