A leading children's care provider in Oldham is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a team in a new residential home for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties. The role requires experience in residential care and strong leadership skills to ensure exceptional care outcomes. Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Oldham - OL4
Provision: Children’s Residential Home (Ages 7–17, EBD & Mild Learning Difficulties) - This is a New Home for an Established Provider
Hours: 48 hours per week, days only, rolling rota (you will manage the rota, including your own shifts) - Sleep will be required
Salary: £38,600 per annum
About the Role
Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager ready to step up and lead a high-quality team? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, values-led organisation that delivers care, education, and therapy to children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD).
You’ll work closely with an experienced Registered Manager, helping to shape a safe, supportive environment and lead your team in delivering exceptional outcomes for children and young people.
This provider operates between 12 children's homes and offers integrated education, therapeutic, and residential care services. With a strong Ofsted “Good” track record, they’re expanding services to meet the needs of both EBD and LD children and care leavers.
