Overview

Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join their award-winning team at Aldridge Care Home. This role involves supporting the General Manager to ensure the care home operates effectively and provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors, while meeting professional and statutory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
• Ensure medication policies and procedures are adhered to and support the reviewing of medication and administration.
• Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and be aware of any changes impacting care and care plans.
• Complete monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and other reports as required.
• Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home.

About the role

Your focus as Care Home Deputy Manager will be to support the General Manager to operate a compliant and effective person-centred care home which provides a safe, caring and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors, whilst meeting stringent professional and statutory standards and commercial performance targets.
