Responsibilities
  • Manage, recruit, train and support colleagues, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and creating effective rotas
  • Promote best practice so services are delivered to a high standard
  • Ensure strong support systems are in place and maintain full compliance
  • Support the Local Service Manager with managing empty properties
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and external partners
  • Be willing to travel occasionally (a full driving licence is desirable)
  • Management or supervisory experience in a social care setting with an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Compassionate, understanding and hands-on approach to achieving positive outcomes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and confident using IT systems
  • Experience supporting people with mental health needs
  • Knowledge of support planning, risk assessment and safeguarding
  • Ability to stay calm and work effectively in challenging situations

Salary and Benefits

Salary £29,637 rising to £31,196 per year after 12 months once proficient, 37.5 hours. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave (rising to 30, plus bank holidays), occupational sick pay linked to length of service, and a pension matched up to 7%. Other benefits may include:
