Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Llantrisant is seeking a Deputy Scrub Team Leader to join their theatre team. This position requires a dynamic and motivated Registered Nurse or ODP. The role includes out of hours work and may require rotating throughout specialties. Ideally, candidates should have ophthalmic experience and Welsh language skills at Level 3. Closing date for applications is 08 October 2025.

Qualifications

  • Must be a registered nurse or ODP.
  • Experience in ophthalmic procedures is essential.
  • Welsh language skills at Level 3 or above are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Join the theatre team and cover out of hours work.
  • Rotate throughout various specialties as required.
  • Provide care in NCEPOD and Trauma cases.

Overview

This position has a nominated base of the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.
