Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Dental Nurse to join our Exeter team. This role is for 2 days per week (15 hours), 52 weeks a year, working Tuesdays and Fridays.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Dental Nurse who is interested in working in our state‑of‑the‑art dental education facilities supporting the education of students who are studying to become a Dentist or Hygiene Therapist.

Job Responsibilities
  • Effective and efficient engagement with all processes required to support the provision of clinical care.
  • Effective communication skills to maximise clinic efficiency.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Equality and Diversity regulations for staff, students and patients.
  • Ensure all clinicians and students adhere to policies, protocols and processes.
  • Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Qualified Dental Nurse, registered with the General Dental Council.
  • Evidence of work in a dental environment.
  • Additional dental qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Computer literacy, including competency with Microsoft Office.
  • Hepatitis B immunisation and other health clearance as stipulated by Occupational Health.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
