Overview

Dental Field Service Engineer – Midlands (Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas).

Salary: £35K - £45K depending upon experience + company vehicle + excellent benefits package including contributory pension scheme and full and comprehensive manufacturers based product training.

My client is one of the largest dental equipment suppliers in the UK, offering a full and comprehensive range of products, including X-ray, suction devices, autoclaves, dental chairs and other associated dental equipment. They are trusted by dental practices and dental professionals throughout the United Kingdom to deliver first class product reliability and service.

Role

Following expansion, they seek to recruit a customer focused and technically motivated Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, repair, breakdown and maintenance of their range of dental equipment at dental practices in the Midlands area.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, breakdown and maintenance of dental equipment at customer sites.
• Provide high levels of customer service in a field-based role.
• Work in a team with senior management and engineers to support product training and knowledge transfer.

Requirements / Background

To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate a strong background in a customer facing Field Service Engineer role, or be an ex-HM Forces Engineer with an electro-mechanical or electronic service background.

Applications are welcome from engineers with dental equipment experience, as well as those who have worked with autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, biomedical equipment or medical devices. Service Engineers with general electrical-mechanical skills are encouraged to apply, as well as HM Forces Engineers with a REME, Navy or RAF background.

You must have impeccable customer service skills and the ability to remain confident and professional in customer facing environments.
