A leading healthcare provider is seeking a compassionate Dementia Care Manager to enhance the lives of residents in a luxury elderly care home. This role involves managing care plans, building relationships, and leading a supportive team to provide exceptional care and meaningful activities.
The Dementia Care Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Dementia Community, implementing and embedding the company's dementia care strategy and managing resources within a given budget. They will focus on building caring relationships with residents and families, promoting a culture that enables residents to maximize their capabilities, and supporting the care team in providing meaningful activities for residents with dementia.
As a Dementia Care Manager, your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and person-centered care plans, building relationships with residents and families, working closely with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities, and promoting a culture that enhances the quality of life for residents with dementia. You must have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, a comprehensive understanding of CQC standards, and industry-relevant qualifications.
