Our Customer Service Team Members play a vital role, delivering top quality products on time and in an efficient manner. You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, and you’ll never have to fight over the radio station. You can sing along as loud as you like. We use our automated technology to pre-plan your route and pre-load your van. Everyone likes their groceries at different times, so working patterns involve evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays. In addition to base pay, you will receive premiums that will increase your average hourly earnings to £13.25 per hour, with enhanced overtime to further increase earnings. All breaks are paid, meaning for every minute at work you get paid. Shifts will vary and more information is included below to help you understand what that might look like.

Responsibilities

  • Be customer-facing and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Driving Licence Requirements: Full UK or EU driving licence.
  • Minimum of 6 months driving experience (12 months desirable).
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.
  • Some deliveries involve handling alcohol products; must be over 18 to apply.
  • Good communication skills are essential for a customer-facing role.
Pay, Hours and Benefits
  • Pay Structure: lunar pay – paid every 4 weeks on a monthly schedule.
  • Hourly Pay Rates: Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate) £12.78; Evening Premium (from 6pm) £1.12; Sunday Day Premium £1.28; Sunday Evening Premium £2.51.
  • Overtime: Monday to Saturday (Day Shift) £15.98; Evening Shift £17.38.
  • Shifts: AM & PM; 5 days out of 7; 40 hours per week including paid breaks.
  • Evenings and weekends working patterns; breaks are paid.

Contract and Additional Information
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Contract Hours: 40 hours (including paid breaks)
  • Contracted days: You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7, with 8 hour shifts; further information provided during pre-boarding.
  • Shifts: AM & PM; start as early as 05:30 and finish as late as 12:00.
