A leading healthcare organization in the UK seeks a proactive Data Quality and Training Co-ordinator. The role involves supporting data quality for research, providing training on the clinical information system PPM, and ensuring compliance with policies. TheResearch and Innovation Department is continuing its exciting expansion. Wehave several research specialities and the Real World Evidence Alliance atLeeds (REAL) team is looking for a Data Quality and Training Co-ordinator.This part time post (0.6 WTE), with a permanent contract will be based atLeeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Thepost holder will contribute actively to the coordination, and delivery of theREAL team research portfolio. The main tasks are:
Working closely with Senior Clinical Oncology Informatics Officer within theREAL Team to ensure the data generated for research is of high quality andcollected to required meet project deadlines
Supporting data entry and data quality checking for research
Supporting the generation of project specific documentation and submissions,along with admin related to the REAL teams project activity.
Inaddition to being responsible for ensuring that delivery of the role is to avery high standard, compliance with Trust policy, study protocolrequirements, local and national guidance and legislation is required.

Weare looking to recruit a proactive and self-motivated individual with a keeninterest in research to work within the Real World Evidence Alliance at Leeds(REAL) team.
Thepost-holder will:
Assist data entry and provide quality assurance for research projects
Monitor the information entered into PPM by the Research Teams, testing theinformation for quality and validity
Utilise appropriate information systems identified by the Senior ClinicalOncology Informatics Officer and incorporate these into the main database
Act as the first line of support for research staff who require a moredetailed understanding of relevant general/cancer specific databases
Field first line queries from clinical research staff and teams, referringonto the Senior Clinical Oncology Informatics Officer where necessary
Provide advice on the interpretation of PPM fields for REAL and R+I data teamand research staff, referring onto the Senior Clinical Informatics Officerwhere necessary
Supporting the generation of project specific documentation and submissions,along with admin related to the REAL teams project activity
Thepost holder will be required to work alongside industry partners, theNational Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN)Yorkshire and Humber (Y&H) and colleagues in neighbouring establishments

Thepost-holder will be working with the Research Team to facilitate theproduction of high-quality research reports, conference submissions andpublications. The post holder will be working with a range of information andcomputer-based systems to support the work of the REAL Team within R+I andplay a role in training and admin to support this work.
TheCancer Data Quality and Training Co-ordinator will work closely with theSenior Information Officer within the REAL Team to ensure the data generatedfor research is of high quality and collected to required meet projectdeadlines.
Therole also encompasses supporting data entry and data quality checking forresearch.
Thepost holder will be required to develop and provide a training programme andassessment of competence in using PPM for all staff working within oralongside the Research Team who require training on PPM data entry.
Thiswill involve creation and maintenance of user guides and other locallymaintained documents and policies relating to the use and functionality ofPPM
