Job summary

An electrical utilities company is seeking a Data Model Analyst to support the migration from SAP EEC to SAP S/4 HANA. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, translate complex data model concepts for non-technical audiences, and support SAP Data Administrators. Candidates should have over 5 years of SAP experience, ideally in utilities, with strong knowledge of large datasets. This is a hybrid role with a competitive rate based in Glasgow.

  • 5+ years' experience working with SAP for utilities.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA preferred but not required.
  • Experience in enterprise-level asset management within SAP PM.

Expectations
  • Collaborate with the NP&R SAP S/4 HANA Project team and the wider business stakeholders, in the delivery of the project to migrate from SAP EEC to SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Translate between Data Model concepts and business concepts for non-technical stakeholders with NP&R, and the SAP Migration Programme team. Contribute to the SAP S/4 HANA Data Model development, championing critical Asset Management business processes and priorities throughout the development of the conceptual and logical models.
  • Maintain a holistic view of data model changes being applied to the SAP EEC Data Model, ensuring that they are considered and addressed during SAP S/4 HANA Data Model development.
  • Provide SP Data Model expertise to SAP Data Administrators and Data Governance Analysts to deliver project milestones.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience working with SAP for utilities – ideally electricity networks.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA would be advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience working on enterprise-level asset management within SAP PM. Firsthand experience with SAP modules (e.g., SAP PM, SAP MM, SAP SD).
