If you are an innovative problem solver and are ready for a challenging role that makes a difference to victims of crime, then you could be part of a fast-paced technical team as a Data Forensic Technician at Wiltshire Police and part of our South West Forensics collaboration.
This is a key role within the department providing general administrative support and supporting, enhancing and creating new avenues of investigation for officers and helping to bring offenders to justice. In this role you will be dealing with the interrogation of a wide range of devices in order to obtain the best evidence possible for a variety of criminal cases. On a typical day you will be extracting data from computers and mobile devices, as well as liaising with a broad range of police officers, staff and external organisations.
