About The Team

The Chief Data Office is seeking a Senior Associate / Associate Director Python Developer with at least 3 years of experience with Business Intelligence exposure to help deliver insights, support our data analytics platforms, and collaborate on cross-functional solutions.

Our team operates globally with presence in London and New York, developing and executing solutions to help business units deliver results, including analytics to support revenue growth, product innovation, productivity gains, and enhancing the reputation of Fitch Group.

The team is looking to hire a Data & Analytics Associate to help us meet our growing business demands and contribute to the development of a unique, unified platform for all data-driven solutions and products. We aspire to take our analytics capabilities to the next level by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI in the future. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring we have the right data, visualisations, insights, and analytics to support the continued growth and innovation of our business.

How You will Make an Impact

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Python code.
  • Streamline and automate processes using existing technology.
  • Engage with various business lines to gather requirements and ensure that the BI solutions offered meet the reporting and analytical needs.
  • Use advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights from large, complex, and disparate data sets.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
