Job description

Tempest Education are working with a number of Primary Schools in Liverpool who are looking for Daily Supply Teachers in January.

The schools are the heartbeat of the community and are all a minimum OFSTED graded GOOD.

The Schools are looking to recruit the teachers ASAP with the roles on-going through out the academic year.

Locations are:

  • Knowsley
  • Huyton
  • Fazakerley
  • Anfield
  • Kirkby

As a Supply Teacher, you will work closely with teachers and staff to provide personalised support for students ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive in their education. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN students
  • Support children working at a level below expected
  • Daily supply across a number of schools
  • Planning already complete
  • Phonics support
  • Helping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet student's needs
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development
  • Collaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable
  • Patience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • QTS
  • Experience Teaching in the UK
  • A genuine passion for working in education and helping children succeed
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Minimum 6 months experience within a School environment
