This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of our cyber security strategy across all ScottishPower businesses, working closely with local and global teams to enhance our security posture.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Strategy and Transformation, you'll play a key role in shaping and supporting initiatives aligned with our strategic goals. You will assess current capabilities, identify areas for improvement, and help implement programs that boost cyber resilience across the organization. Your insights will be valued across the business, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment on cyber security priorities.

What you'll bring

We seek someone with a strong foundation in cyber security, ideally with a degree in the field, and a solid understanding of UK energy sector regulations, frameworks like ISO 27000 and NIST, risk management, and threat analysis. Technical expertise in data privacy, network security, application security, and access controls is essential, along with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and accessibly.

This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, values continuous learning, and is eager to take ownership of their development. You will receive mentoring and training, and be encouraged to build strong relationships within the business and with external partners, including government agencies and industry bodies.

If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in a forward-thinking organization committed to cyber excellence, we want to hear from you.

What’s in it for you

Along with a competitive salary reviewed annually, we offer benefits such as a pension scheme with double matching contributions up to 10%, 36 days of annual leave, holiday purchase options, share schemes, payroll giving, technology vouchers, and initiatives to support environmental sustainability and personal wellbeing.
