Job summary

A technology consulting firm in the Gloucester area is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Manager to ensure all IT systems are secure and compliant with applicable standards and regulations. The role requires overseeing security controls and providing guidance on new system developments. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in Cyber Security and a strong knowledge of relevant frameworks. Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of ITAR, CMMC, ISO27001, CCPA, Cyber Essentials Plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar Cyber Security role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the continued certification of ISO27001, CMMC, Cyber Essentials.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the company cyber security strategy.
  • Work with external partners to ensure their work meets the relevant standards.
  • Give advice and guidance on all new projects.
  • Represent Cyber Security on the Change Advisory Board.
  • Implement and maintain the company response plan in the event of a security breach.

Overview

Cyber Security Operations Manager, Gloucester area, Good salary dependent on experience.

The Cyber Security Operations Manager will ensure all IT systems are appropriately secured to ensure business compliance with all applicable standards, legislation and regulation. In addition they will oversee security controls maintained by external IT partners. With proven experience in a similar role you will give security advice, guidance and direction for all new system development and will be a key member of the change advisory board and business risk steering committee.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the continued certification of ISO27001, CMMC (NIST), Cyber Essentials, etc.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the company cyber security strategy .
  • Work with external partners to ensure their work meets the relevant standards, legislation and regulation.
  • Give advice and guidance on all new projects.
  • Represent Cyber Security on the Change Advisory Board.
  • Work closely with the National Cyber Security Centre.
  • Implement and maintain the company response plan in the event of a security breach.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of some of the following - ITAR, CMMC, ISO27001, CCPA, Cyber Essentials Plus
  • 5 years plus experience in a similar Cyber Security role.
