Weve evolved our Housing Officer role into Customer & Neighbourhood Officer, and wed love for you to join our dedicated, highly motivated team. Our mission is simple : deliver outstanding service by utilising the skills, experience, and understanding of our residents. As a result of our growth strategy we have a number of full time roles to fill including permanent and fixed term for 12 months - the latter have the possibility of extension or permanency, but if not you will gain career enhancing skills and experience. This is a hybrid role which involves travelling in the Buckinghamshire area with 1 or 2 days in our office in High Wycombe.

What youll do
  • Ensuring high levels of service performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying when specialist support is needed to help customers sustain their tenancies.
  • Using data insights to drive area and service improvements.
  • Managing a mixed‑tenure area and handling both day‑to‑day and complex cases.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver area plans and improve our neighbourhoods.
  • Acting as an advocate for our residents, delivering services in line with our Customer Care Standards and making a real difference in the communities we serve.
What we’re looking for
  • Strong customer focus with experience and understanding of social housing issues and associated legislation.
  • Ability to manage a demanding and diverse workload, including case management.
  • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) with proven ability to influence and get things done.
  • Commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
Organised and self‑motivated
  • A full driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and the ability to travel within Buckinghamshire area (Business mileage will be paid in line with our policy at prevailing rate, currently 45p per mile, less home to work commute).
For added brilliance :
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Anti‑Social Behaviour management, Tenancy Sustainment, Benefits, Safeguarding, Housing law, relevant Court experience, CIH qualification level 3, knowledge of signposting to relevant bodies (ie Citizens advice, debt management, older peoples services).

Working Hours

37 hours standard working pattern: 9am‑5:30pm Mon‑Thurs & 9am‑5pm on Friday – with some flexibility on start and finish times.
