Candidate Specification: Credit Control / Sales Support
Essential Experience & Skills
- Strong experience using Sage 50 Professional (non negotiable)
- Proven background in accounts administration, including:
- Credit control
- Customer and supplier reconciliations
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Handling foreign currency
- Managing petty cash and company card transactions
- Experience issuing monthly statements and managing 30 day and 60 day payment terms
- Confident managing SME customer accounts
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience preparing information for external accountants (quarterly and year end)
- Previous involvement in office management or administrative coordination
- Experience supporting sales teams (UK and export)
- Ability to create and manage export documentation
- Experience dealing with customer enquiries and complaints professionally
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Knowledge of import/export processes
- Familiarity with P11D preparation
- Experience liaising with recruitment agencies, utilities, insurers, or similar third parties
- Exposure to health & safety or fire training coordination
