Qualifications

• Experience of health/social/care services (as a worker or service user/carer).
• Experience of working within mental health.
• Ability to initiate and facilitate social, recreational, creative activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide interventions to improve service users' quality of life.
• Facilitate social, creative, and skills-based activities.
• Work with the Multi Disciplinary Team in client-centred activities.

Skills

Good communication skills: verbal and written, English to GCSE or equivalent

Experience in facilitating groups and individual activities

Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment

Understanding of the needs and experiences of individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions

Education

Level 2 Functional Skills (e.g. GCSE Mathematics and English Language Grade C/4 or above)

Level 3 Diploma in Mental Health or Health and Social Care
