Salary: £100-£110 per day (dependent on experience)

We’re seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our dynamic supply team, supporting secondary schools across the region.

Role Overview

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged and on task.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects
  • Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff
  • Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues
  • Support students with their learning where appropriate
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times
Requirements
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (A-C or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage behaviour confidently and calmly
  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
