About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team from September 2025 for the full academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of learning during teacher absences. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the classroom teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Supporting pupils to engage with learning and complete set tasks
  • Ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff about lesson outcomes
About You
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills
  • Be confident in managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Be adaptable, flexible, and willing to cover a range of subjects
  • Ideally, have prior experience working with young people (e.g., in schools, youth work, tutoring, or mentoring)
  • Hold a good standard of education (minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths)
