Overview

Academics are recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors with a keen interest in developing their teaching skills, to work in Primary schools in the Portsmouth area on a daily, short, long term and permanent basis.

I am looking to recruit a full time cover supervisor for a school in Portsmouth.

Responsibilities

• Cover classes across the curriculum in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Support learning and differentiate instruction to meet pupils’ needs.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

• Have a degree and/or relevant experience of working in a school setting.
• Have recent experience of teaching or supporting in a classroom in the UK.
• Have good differentiation skills.
• Be able to show good behaviour management skills.
• Be available at least one day per week.
• Ideally be Portsmouth based or happy to travel to Portsmouth for work.
• Be friendly and open to new challenges.
• Be happy to cover classes across the curriculum in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
