Cover Supervisors Needed - Denbighshire

Have you considered working as a Cover Supervisor? A new opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic Secondary School in Flintshire. With opportunities to progress on to Teacher Training in the future, this Cover Supervisor role is the perfect job for aspiring teachers who are seeking additional classroom experience before applying for a PGCE.

Cover Supervisor - Job Details:

Secondary School based in Flitshire

Pay: Up to £100 per day

Covering lessons across Years 7-11 in a variety of subject areas

Full-time position, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:30

Delivering pre-set lesson plans

Ensure students are on-task and understand the work that has been set

Using the school\'s behaviour policies to maintain classroom control

Fantastic way of securing relevant experience prior to Teacher Training

Responsibilities

• Covering lessons across Years 7-11 in a variety of subject areas
• Delivering pre-set lesson plans
• Ensuring students are on-task and understand the work that has been set
• Using the school\'s behaviour policies to maintain classroom control
• Providing a fantastic way of gaining relevant experience prior to Teacher Training

Qualifications

• Excellent academic record; GCSEs and A-Levels to demonstrate attainment
• Graduates with a degree specialism in English, Maths or Science are of particular interest
• Confident to stand in front of classes of up to 30 students and deliver pre-set lesson plans
• Experience in similar roles (e.g., TEFL) is advantageous
