Job Description

Step into the classroom across Wolverhampton & the Black Country!

Do you love working with young people and want to make a real difference? Schools across Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley and Sandwell are on the lookout for energetic and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to join their teams.

You’ll be helping to bring lessons to life, keep classrooms on track, and support students to shine — all while building your own experience in education.

This is the perfect role if you're thinking about a future in teaching, looking to inspire the next generation, or simply want to gain rewarding experience in schools.

We're looking for people who are:
  • Confident in leading a group
  • Able to bring lessons to life from a set plan
  • Great communicators with a can-do attitude
  • Passionate about helping young people succeed
You might be:
  • A recent graduate looking for hands‑on classroom experience
  • A youth worker, mentor, or coach used to inspiring young people
  • A performer or creative with a flair for engaging an audience
  • Someone with leadership experience who loves motivating others
What's in it for you?
  • Competitive pay based on your experience
  • Flexible working patterns to fit around you
  • A welcoming school culture with supportive staff
  • A chance to explore a long‑term career in education

If you're ready to support, inspire, and have fun in classrooms across Wolverhampton and the Black Country, we'd love to hear from you!

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you), be registered to the DBS Update Service, provide references covering the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks before starting work.

Salary depends on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum requirement is recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years in a school teaching the British Curriculum) and/or relevant care-based experience in the last 5 years.

This role is for temporary supply work — but could be the first step in an exciting career in education.
