Job Opportunity: Cover Supervisor Day-to-Day Supply (Nottingham)

Location: Secondary Schools across Nottingham
Contract Type: Flexible, Day-to-Day
Salary: GBP90 GBP110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Are you passionate about education and keen to make a difference in the classroom without the added pressure of planning or marking?

We re looking for enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisors to join our supply team, supporting secondary schools across Nottingham.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you ll help ensure learning continues in the absence of the class teacher. You ll deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and keep students engaged and on task.

This role is perfect for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absences across a range of subjects

  • Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff

  • Support students with their learning when appropriate

  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times

Requirements
  • Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (A C or equivalent)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage behaviour with confidence and calmness

  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable)

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
