Cover Supervisor Position in Stockport

A dedicated and passionate Cover Supervisor is required to work at a popular and supportive secondary school in Stockport. The role involves covering classes across the school for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, starting as soon as possible on an ongoing basis. This position is likely to continue for the rest of the current academic year.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications

• Degree with a good classification, preferably in a science-related subject
• Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc.) as a Science Teacher
• Previous experience working with young people (references available)
• Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (references available)
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
• Up-to-date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years
• Up-to-date behaviour management & FGM training (training can be provided)

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application (cost applicable)
