Cover Supervisor

Location: High Wycombe Immediate Start Full-Time/Part-Time

Pay: £115 £130 per day (depending on experience)

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting students learning? We are seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in High Wycombe for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom supervisors who want to gain valuable school experience and make a positive impact on young people s education.

Job Description:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Support pupils with their learning and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Follow school policies on safeguarding, behaviour, and health & safety
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and classroom engagement

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people (in education, sports coaching, or similar roles)
  • Be confident in managing classroom behaviour and engaging students
  • Possess strong communication and organisational skills
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
