  • Use de‑escalation techniques and consistently apply the school’s reward and behaviour policies.
  • Encourage positive peer interactions and help pupils develop strong social communication skills.
  • Promote emotional regulation, resilience and structured routines to support student wellbeing.

They value:

  • Strong partnerships with families and external agencies.
  • Clear policies and procedures for promoting positive behaviour.
  • A focus on positive relationships, pupil voice and child‑led learning.
  • A broad range of pastoral support and enrichment activities to develop confident, well‑rounded learners.
Qualifications & Experience

  • Confident delivering full lessons and managing classrooms independently.
  • Demonstrate a calm, patient and compassionate approach with young people.
  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff and families.
