Job summary

A national law firm is seeking an experienced individual to prepare Bills of Costs and provide support to clients and junior team members. The role involves litigation through the court process, and candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience. Qualifications

  • Minimum two years’ experience working in Costs drafting services preferred.
  • Desirable: Experience in one or more legal departments.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Bills of Costs for Detailed/Provisional Assessment.
  • Interact with clients, providing advice and taking instructions.
  • Provide technical support to fee earners and train junior team members.

Skills

Experience either in house or for an external supplier of Costs
Basic knowledge of legal procedures
Proven experience with IT systems and time recording procedures
Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner
Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
