Qualifications

• Experience drafting bills of costs and recovering costs as a receiving party representative.
• Good understanding of Detailed Assessment process and Cost Case Laws.
• Previous experience of client liaison and handling own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Draft bills of costs and negotiate recovery through Detailed Assessment.
• Manage own caseload with accurate case management.
• Prepare cost strategy reports and provide strategic costs advice.

Skills

Experience in a similar costs Draftsperson role

Good telephone negotiation skills

Ability to use own initiative

Excellent listening and verbal communication skills

Proficient IT skills

Education

3 GCSE’s grade C or above or equivalent

Education – Degree and/or LPC and/or ALCD
