Your new firm:

Our client is a well-established independent practice with an outstanding reputation across the North East, acting for a diverse client base ranging from fast-growing SMEs to large corporate groups. After sustained growth, they are now looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to take a lead role in advisory delivery, client strategy, and team development, working closely with the Tax Director and Partners.

Your new role:

As Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of the corporate tax offering - taking ownership of advisory projects, overseeing complex compliance, and acting as a trusted adviser to clients. You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and ensuring the team continues to grow in both capability and reputation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading delivery of corporate tax advisory projects and complex client work
• Reviewing and overseeing corporation tax computations and returns for large companies and groups
• Supporting Partners on strategic planning, restructures, and tax-efficient structuring
• Managing deadlines, workflow, and client communication across the portfolio
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service
• Coaching and developing junior team members to achieve their potential

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, with proven advisory experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A proactive, strategic mindset with attention to detail
• Experience using CCH software (advantageous but not essential)
