Overview

A leading Milton Keynes firm is looking to recruit a corporate solicitor to join its high-profile team.

The ideal candidate will have some experience within private equity, M&A, corporate and corporate restructuring. It would also be useful although not essential to have an interest in banking. Ideally, your experience will have been gained at a city or medium/large provincial practice.

Responsibilities
  • Basic business and company law
  • Company/business acquisitions and disposals experience acquired through a training contract with a city or medium/large provincial practice
  • Familiarity with drafting articles of association, shareholders’ agreements, share options, and similar corporate documentation
  • Sound legal knowledge, drafting skills, and experience with a recognised practice
  • Commercial, practical and financial awareness
  • Confidence and ability to communicate at senior levels
  • Excellent academics and strong ambition for career development
  • Excellent interpersonal and marketing skills with the ability to develop contacts for the team and the firm
  • Team player able to fit into a friendly, busy unit
