As part of our commitment to delivering agile, high-impact creative solutions, we are establishing a new on-site Fast Response Content Centre embedded directly within our client's organisation. This dedicated hub will serve as a central engine for content creation, enabling closer collaboration, deeper brand integration, and faster turnaround on digital assets. By positioning the team at the heart of the client’s business, we ensure greater alignment with strategic priorities and the ability to produce, adapt, and deploy content at scale across multiple European markets, all while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.

This role will be based in Chertsey, with a requirement to work from the offices for 4 days per week. As with all Cheil roles, this is a 12-month fixed term contract in the first instance.

The Opportunity

The Copywriter will play a key role in the Fast Response Content Centre, delivering high volumes of precise, engaging, and on-brand copy across digital, social, and eCommerce channels. Working across origination, bespoke copy-visual combinations, and rapid adaptations, the Copywriter will craft compelling messaging that aligns with creative direction, brand tone, and business priorities.

This hands‑on role requires balancing speed with quality, collaborating closely with designers, editors, and Art Directors, and leveraging new tools and AI platforms to drive efficiency and impact in content production.

Key Responsibilities

Copy Creation & Adaptation

• Write clear, engaging, and brand‑consistent copy for digital, social, eCommerce, and campaign assets.
• Deliver outputs across origination shoots, bespoke copy‑visual combinations, and rapid adaptations (pricing, dates, legal lines).
• Adapt and repurpose master copy for multiple formats, languages, and markets.
• Ensure English masters (or country‑of‑origin copy) are accurate and ready for localization.

Collaboration & Direction

• Work under the guidance of the Art Director to maintain creative consistency and brand voice.
• Collaborate closely with designers, editors, and the wider content team to ensure seamless copy‑visual integration.
• Contribute practical ideas during ideation sessions and help translate briefs into effective messaging solutions.

Workflow & Tools

• Manage assigned tasks and deadlines in Jira.
• Collaborate on copy iterations and feedback in Figma.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Copywriter in fast‑paced content production, in‑house, or agency environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, social, and eCommerce copywriting excellence.
• Experience in supporting static and motion content creation, ensuring copy complements visual storytelling.
• Strong understanding of templated creative systems, asset rollouts, and localization processes.
• Ability to produce high‑quality copy at scale under tight deadlines.

Proficiency with:

• Jira (workflow/project management)
• Figma (collaboration and copy integration)
• Celtra(Automation platform)
• AI copy tools (Adobe Firefly, Mid Journey)
