Overview

Coordinator — We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator to start by the 25th September for 3 months. The role is Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days from home) in the Cardiff Office. CF10 1AF; Salary: £27,273–£29,796.

Who will you be working for?

Our client is an established non-profit healthcare membership body.

What will you be doing?

To provide full administrative support to ensure the college in Wales meets its objectives including:

  1. To act as an ambassador for the College in a local setting by consistently upholding the standards of the College.
  2. To support the development of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Wales in its relationship with the local membership.
  3. To provide administrative, event coordination, IT, social media and website support to RCPsych in Wales.
  • Coordinate the Executive Committee meetings including preparation and circulation of minutes, agendas, papers, follow-up actions and correspondence
  • Manage and archive Executive Committee and other Committee minutes
  • Manage and respond to telephone, e-mail and other enquiries from members, the general public, Trusts, Department of Health, media etc
  • Work in conjunction with college in Wales Manager to organise conferences, events
  • Coordinate and oversee the administration process for local Faculties/Groups and Committee meetings e.g. liaising with Chairs, drafting and circulating agendas, papers and minutes and follow up on action points.
  • Manage and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of petty cash
Essential
  • Excellent MS Office and keyboard skills
  • Proven formal minute taking and committee experience
  • Excellent written skills, including proven
  • Ability to draft correspondence
  • Experience of meeting and conference organisation
  • Experience of working in a professional or related environment
  • Knowledge of the NHS in Wales and an understanding of mental health issues
