A community-focused organization is looking for a Cook to join their team in Forres. In this role, you'll prepare healthy meals for vulnerable customers, maintain kitchen standards, and manage stock. Hanover are recruiting for a friendly and positive individual to join our team as a Cook at our Varis Court development in Forres. Working 4 days on 4 days off rota which will include weekends and public holidays. This is on a 6 months Fixed Term basis, working 28 hours per week.
You will be cooking and preparing healthy and nutritional meals for our customers as well as cakes and bakes for customers. Maintaining kitchen to a high standard in line with environmental health regulations. Ordering and stock control with an emphasis on getting produce from local suppliers.
This role is development based, preparing, and serving nutritious meals for vulnerable people in line with individual care plans. I.e. Soft diet, diabetes, allergies etc.
