A healthcare organization in Aberystwyth is seeking a Cook to join their Catering Department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cooking services for patients, staff, and the public. Responsibilities include preparing special dietary meals and ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen. Qualifications include a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent, and the ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable. This role offers a 22.5 hour contract with training and opportunities for professional development.
The Catering Department at Bronglais Hospital is currently looking to recruit a Cook to join a large team of individuals within the department, to provide an effective and efficient cooking service.
The successful candidate will play an integral role within the team, whilst ensuring that the food is prepared to the highest standard.
Full training will be given, but the successful candidate will be required to hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or the equivalent.
The contract available is 1 x 22.5 hour post.
This contract is to work various days in the week, on a six week rolling rota. You will be required to work weekends and to include Bank Holidays as and when required, for which an additional payment is made.
Duties will include:
Full training will be provided within the department.
Hours of work are between 07:00am - 20:00pm.
Successful candidates will receive staff uniform.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings
47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
