The role
  • Providing conveyancing quotes and acting as a first point of contact for incoming enquiries
  • Opening new files and maintaining accurate records throughout the transaction
  • Handling client queries by telephone and in person, and giving regular updates to clients, estate agents, and brokers
  • Progressing matters through to completion, post‑completion, file closing and archiving
  • Undertaking dictation and assisting fee earners with drafting and administrative support
  • Obtaining AML documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Updating LMS, Lender Exchange, and the case management system
  • Submitting registrations and dealing with requisitions
  • Working within the CQS framework
  • Scanning incoming post, allocating documentation to fee earners, and maintaining physical and electronic files
  • Managing client and office ledgers and undertaking general administrative duties
  • Attending Property Department meetings and firm‑wide meetings as required
  • Occasionally working from other offices when necessary
You
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Residential Conveyancing department
  • Sound understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to post‑completion
  • Working knowledge of LMS, Lender Exchange, and Land Registry procedures
  • Excellent client care skills and a confident, professional telephone manner
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative ability
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Windows, and case management systems (Tikit advantageous)
  • A reliable team player with a proactive, positive approach
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
