A regional law firm in Surrey is seeking a Conveyancing Administrator for their office-based team. This role requires proven experience in conveyancing or legal administration, excellent organizational and communication skills, and knowledge of property transactions. The successful candidate will provide vital support to ensure efficient property transaction progress. Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal administration role within a law firm.

Responsibilities

  • Open, maintain, and close conveyancing files in line with firm procedures.
  • Draft, prepare, and process legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Communicate with clients, answering queries and providing updates.
  • Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and local authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately enter and maintain data in case management systems.

Regional Law Firm

We are working on behalf of a large regional law firm to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Administrator to join their busy Surrey office. This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional seeking a hands‑on role within a supportive and well‑established team. The successful candidate will provide crucial administrative support to the conveyancing team, ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Open, maintain, and close conveyancing files in line with firm procedures
  • Draft, prepare, and process legal documents, contracts, and forms related to property transactions
  • Communicate with clients, answering queries and providing updates on case progress
  • Liaise with solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and local authorities
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including AML checks
  • Accurately enter and maintain data in case management systems
  • Support financial administration, including invoicing, payments, and completion statements
  • Prepare progress and management reports as required
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal administration role within a law firm
  • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial property transactions
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
