• Ability to troubleshoot PLC and automation systems.

Controls Engineer London needed for a world class manufacturer. You must be good on controls with experience in Manufacturing in either Packaging, Plastics, Beverage, FMCG, Food, Pharma or Automotive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Be a senior member of the Engineering Leadership Team
• Provide support and advice
• Troubleshooting on site operations equipment and automation systems and providing the site effective proactive maintenance service
• Updating and maintenance on production / packaging equipment
• Troubleshooting of PLC, HMI and SCADA Software
• Identifying failures and recovery
• Managing contractors when required
• Work on capital projects
• Support in delivering CI initiatives
• Provide technical support to local & capital projects
