Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + benefits, car allowance, relocation package

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Control Panel Design Project Engineer to join our team in Slough. The role involves designing and project engineering control panels for HVAC/BMS systems, managing a small team, and working closely with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design control panels and motor control centres to IEC61439-1 standards
  • Use Eplan P8 for electrical drawings
  • Develop control systems for HVAC and BMS applications, including Trend BMS and PLC controls
  • Write software for control systems using SET and other tools
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring profitability
  • Occasionally assist with on-site commissioning and client communication
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in control panel design, especially with Eplan
  • Knowledge of HVAC, PLC controls, and communication protocols like TCP/IP, BACNET, Modbus
  • Electrical knowledge of 400V systems, motor control techniques (DOL, ASD, Frequency Inverter)
  • Experience with Trend / Honeywell software, IQ Vision, Niagara platform
  • Proficiency in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong project management skills, including financial oversight
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Willingness to occasionally visit construction sites
