Job Title: Contracts Manager-Highways and Transport
Pay Rate: 26.94 an hour PAYE / 35.11 an hour UMBRELLA
Hours: 36 Hours a week (Mon-Fri)
Duration: Initial 6 Month Contract
Location: HYBRID WORKING - Office/On Site based minimum 3 days in Newham
Overall Purpose of Job
To be responsible for the programming and contract management within the Highways and Sustainable Transportation Team. To manage a team of technical and administrative staff including directly employed staff and/or agency staff in the delivery of these services.
Comprehensive knowledge of the service area and an ability to assess the impact of legislative and / or administrative changes affecting the service.
Knowledge of the requirements of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
Knowledge of relevant legislation relevant to the service area.
Knowledge of the functions and current trends and developments of local authorities would be advantageous but is not essential.
Good understanding of the NEC Suite of Contracts.
