Job summary

A leading Engineering and Manufacturing company in Taunton is looking for a Contracts Coordinator to oversee contract management post-order. The ideal candidate is highly organised, possesses strong communication skills, and is capable of managing multiple contracts. Experience in an engineering environment and knowledge of ERP systems are advantageous. This role offers a salary between £33,000 and £35,000, with a Monday to Friday schedule and early finish on Fridays.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in an engineering environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for customers after order placement.
  • Coordinate information relay between departments and customers.
  • Monitor contract performance regarding timing and finances.
  • Ensure timely production and dispatch of technical documents.
  • Update customers on progress during weekly production meetings.
  • Assist with import/export of testing materials and machinery.

Overview

Contracts Coordinator – Taunton. £33,000 to £35,000 DOE. Monday to Friday. Early Finish Friday.

A leading Engineering and Manufacturing company supplying specialised equipment worldwide is seeking a highly organised and experienced individual to manage contracts once the sales team have received an order.

Responsibilities
  • Main point of contact for all customers post-order
  • Liaise with all company departments to collate and relay information to customers
  • Monitor contract performance both in timing and financially
  • Ensure all technical documentation packages are produced and dispatched on time
  • Attend weekly production meetings and update customers on progress
  • Assist customers with import/export of testing materials and machinery
Qualifications
  • Educated to BTEC Level 3 minimum
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Capable of handling and managing multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident in holding internal and external meetings
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Sage) is desirable
  • Previous experience within an Engineering environment would be an advantage
