A regional governmental organization in Sheffield is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to funding rules and provide audit support across learning organizations. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in audit activities and the ability to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the improvement of skills and employability across the region.

About the role
You will deliver assurance and audit activity across our Skills and Employment activity, providing support and challenge to learning organisations to ensure compliance with funding rules and contracts. It is an exciting time to join the team as we work to deliver system change across work and health through our employment support programmes under the banner of Pathways to Work; and implement our South Yorkshire Skills Strategy across our growing devolved Adult Skills functions.
You will bring an ability to support and challenge constructively, have a keen eye for detail, and an ability to review and analyse large amounts of information to produce concise and meaningful reports. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team who are solutions focussed.
